Pierre Frey – BRAQUENIE

Seen it, Loved it, Share it

Created in 1824, Braquenié was acquired by Pierre Frey in 1991. Renowned for its printed cottons, silks and hand-woven rugs, this distinguished brand boasts many historical treasures, including textile documents dating back several centuries, carpet samples and watercolor drawings. These carefully preserved documents reveal a fascinating world in which expertise and elegance are a guarantee of taste. Braquenié has thus over time attracted and retained the loyalty of a demanding clientele in search of beauty and became the “haute-couture” house of interior design.

The company remained in the hands of the same family until 1991, the year in which the Frey family acquired it. The original spirit of the brand thus lives on through shared values of tradition, expertise and excellence.
