Villa with a historic look (Cotroceni)

Any story that begins with beautiful thoughts and feelings can only have a happy ending. These words are a certitude in this case as the arrangement project for this villa entirely corresponded to the owners’ taste.

The living enchants by its balanced chromatic and by the delightful furniture. The pendant is a Mis en Demeure, the coffee table is a Baker, while the drapes belong to the Pierre Frey brand.

The conversation area in the living was stylishly conceived. In order to highlight this area designers chose Marie’s Corner coaches and a Grange TV commode.

The owners are passionate about reading so designers chose a custom-made bookcase for their books collection.

The dining seems to be the reign of an eternal and sweet spring. Designers chose the chairs, table and pendant from Mis en Demeure.

The combination between vintage and mystery shades confer a romantic air to this room. The background wallpaper belongs to De Gournay and it is part of an artistic influence collection. The small table from Grange and the bed end from Mis en Demeure also belong to this style.

The matrimonial bathroom looks royal. In order to compose the frame, designers chose bespoke furniture, inspired by their sketches.

A make-up area is defined in the bedroom. We find the following elements here: the Objet Insolite sconce and the Mis en Demeure floor lamp and console.

The youngest daughter’s bedroom has a romantic and fresh air thanks to the building of a couch near the window. We also have the Harlequin drape and the office lamp. Both these and the furniture are custom-made.

The older daughter, a teenager, was very clear in explaining the options for her room. Together with the designers, she chose the drapes from Designers Guild and the chair. The bespoke furniture belongs to La Maison.

The chromatic palette, patterns and furniture style were the older daughter’s choice. The La Maison shopping list comprised the bed end, the canopy and the bedside table.

The kitchen furniture was custom-made, according to the sketches of the La Maison designers and projected in such a manner as to increase rooms functionality without obstructing natural light or the surrounding space.

In order to underline the vintage note and to bring certain chromatic vibrations by the Bordeaux and cream contrasting combination, designers opted for the La Cornue gas cooker.
